You know what? I'm growing more and more fond of photography, and I think I might just head off in that direction. I'm a middlin' artist at best, and I think I have a decent touch for Poser, but I *really* like the results I get from a good photograph.
I had an uncle, sadly gone now, who really got into photography in the 70s, and got damned good at it ... and then lost interest and went on to do other things (he was also a master woodworker). I'd like to try to re-create some of the stranger images he created.
I've already grown fond of working with available light, as in the Indian Mound image. I got a few more that I've done by opening the shutter in a completely dark room, and drawing on the wall with a laser pointer. I got one of Cashew Lou, too, but he'd drive back up here just to kill me if I posted it.
Anyway, I'm curious what you think ... should I pursue the photography further?
Poser is gettin' crazy on me. The last several renders I've attempted, the program's hung on me. So much for my idea for a holiday render ... sheesh, am I going to have to break out my pencils? :)
